Family Guy megafan paints his globe gold and sends to Seth McFarlane because, ‘Family Guy deserves a Golden Globe FFS.’

Carl Hatfield has a message for the Golden Globes:

'You're all a bunch of stupid french seals,' Hatfield said, the french word for seal being phoque, something referenced in season 8, episode 18, of Family Guy.

The nominations for the 2026 Golden Globes are out, and for the 23rd time (there's been 23 seasons of Family Guy go to air), Family Guy has been excluded.

And Hatfield isn't happy about it.

'I'm not happy about it,' he said.

We asked him to expand on his answer, not just respond in the same manner to which the question was put to him.

'I'm very not happy about it,' he said.

Only when this reporter impersonated Tricia Takanawa did Hatfield finally open up, and, in fact, become painfully verbose.

'I'm really upset about it. I'm actually heartbroken. Like, my fat, cholesterol-filled heart has broken into a thousand pieces. That's not food stains all over my shirt, that's pieces of my heart splattered everywhere. I haven't been eating my feelings over this rabies-infected decision. And I can't help but feel for Peter, and Lois, and Stewie, and Brian, and Chris, not really Meg, and Quagmire, and Joe, and Cleveland, and Seth McFarlane, and that writer with the really long name.'

That brilliant writer is Cherry Chevapravatdumrong.

Such is Hatfield's empathy towards McFarlane at yet another oversight by the Hollywood Foreign Press, that he made and mailed him a gift.

'My mum got me a rotating globe on a swivel stand for my birthday, and I don't give a shit about geography, so I painted it gold, so it would be a golden globe, and mailed it to Seth. I don't have his address, so I just sent it to 31 Spooner St, Quahog, Rhode Island. Hopefully the Griffins will get it and they can forward it on to Seth. I hope Seth is okay and not tempted to put a gun in his mouth, or chainsaw his balls off, or fry his nipples with a blow torch. I did that once and it didn't feel great. I still keep the dead nipple skin in a jar beside my bed. Do you want to see...'
