SHOCK: World paper plane flying champ disqualified after judges discover plane is drone wrapped in paper.

28-time world paper plane flying champion Jomo Lafofo will appeal the PPFA's (Paper Plane Flying Association) decision to strip him of his titles and total career prizemoney ($75), and ban him for life, after he was found to have cheated in every paper plane competition he contested over the past 28 years.

Lafofo's deception came to an end at the recent World Championships, where judges discovered his paper plane was actually a drone wrapped in paper.

Suspicions were raised at the European Championships, when Lafofo threw his paper plane from Paris, and it landed on the Bulgarian/Turkish border. However judges concluded it was just a really good throw.

Lafofo hasn't engaged any lawyers, but said he would appeal the PPFA's decision regardless.

'The judges unwrapped the paper and the drone was there for everyone to see, so I am guilty,' Lafofo said. 'But I have lost everything, so I have to appeal.'

Lafofo's cheating has also said to have cost him his relationship, with Sportz Babez magazine covergirl Pippy Lapapa – who looked smokin' hot on the runway at the Detroit Swimwear Show last year – reportedly breaking off their engagement. Sources tell The Daily Fug cracks had begun to appear in their relationship when Lafofo ordered Lapapa wear a paper wedding dress on their wedding day.

Avid paper plane flying fans have expressed disappointment in Lafofo, but also taken aim at the governing body, wondering why it took the PPFA 28 years to discover Lafofo was cheating.

'You could tell from his very first competition that something wasn't right,' paper plane enthusiast Elrik Costanse said.

'It was a community event, and his paper plane only stopped when it flew into the sun and burned into a thousand pieces.'

'First prize was only two pound, so having flown his then drone into the sun, he's probably come out a couple of thousand quid worse off.'

No date has been set yet for Lafofo's appeal.
